Our hamlets and villages around MATHA are considered treasures of historical rural heritage of Charente Maritime(our famous saintongeais arches !).You can also visit the very popular towns and cities such as COGNAC , SAINTES, ST JEAN D'ANGELY, AULNAY (the most importantRomanesque church of South west).

Of course the atlantic coast is very near and a ride to ROCHEFORT, LA ROCHELLE, l’ILE de RE, ROYAN, is strongly recommended.
